Let’s get back to the games. We do not buy a specific one -time product such as a loaf of bread or mop. We buy the “right to use a license product” (you can read persons. And since no taxes should be paid twice, as a rule, in the regions, the publisher can afford to make less prices and t.D.

In general, if you include logic, then in our country they have the right to take VAT only for the price of the boxes and blanks themselves (such as from foreign cars – they produced there, they sell with us), and not the product of which the copyright holder is generally a foreign company. It is impossible, for example, to take VAT to our tax, if you rent a room in a foreign hotel from this hotel, although you are Russian, spend the Russian money that you earned in Russia – because the hotel has already paid all the taxes in his country.

In general, buying a game is rather rental (and piracy is how to live in someone else’s hut and not pay rent). = P
And the law is cherry because it makes the company pay taxes in their country and some kind of dick for publishers of the game.
